    Prof Nicholas Lane

    Nicholas D. Lane is a Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Technology at the University of Cambridge where he leads the Machine Learning Systems Lab. Prior to joining Cambridge, Dr Lane was an Associate Professor at the University of Oxford (2017 to 2020) and Senior Lecturer at the University of London (2016 to 2017).

    Nicholas also has more than 10 years of experience in industrial research. Alongside his academic position, he is currently a Director at the Samsung AI Centre in Cambridge. Previously, he has been a Principal Scientist at Nokia Bell Labs and a Lead Researcher at Microsoft Research in Beijing.

  • Filip Svoboda in the department of computer science and technology .

    Filip Svoboda

    Filip Svoboda is a research assistant in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at the University of Cambridge where he works on empowering Federated Learning through model compression and acceleration.

    Prior to joining Cambridge, he was part of the Autonomous Intelligent Machines and Systems centre for doctoral training at the University of Oxford.

    Dr Tomislav Ladika

    Dr. Tomislav Ladika is an Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Amsterdam. He is also the Director of the MSc in Finance program.

    Tomislav received his PhD in Economics from Brown, and his current research focuses on a wide range of core aspects of finance (e.g., corporate investment, intangible capital, compensation policies) especially as these areas can be studied using machine learning methodologies.

  • Dr Hongkai Wen was post phd reasercher in oxford.

    Dr Hongkai Wen

    Hongkai is an Associate Professor at the University of Warwick. Before that he was a post-doctoral researcher in Oxford (where he also was awarded his PhD), working with Professor Niki Trigoni and Professor Paul Newman to explore new navigation methods for autonomous vehicles.

    Hongkai is actively involved in building robust, accurate and extremely lightweight positioning system for mobile and wearable devices. His research has won two Best Paper Awards in IPSN'14 and EWSN'13, and Hongaki co-founded the Oxford-based spin-out company Navenio, which develops next-generation indoor positioning.

  • Prof Cecilia Mascolo professor at department of computer science and technology.

    Prof Cecilia Mascolo

    Cecilia Mascolo is a Professor of Mobile Systems at the Department of Computer Science and Technology at the University of Cambridge, and a Fellow of Jesus College, Cambridge. She is also Director of Studies for Computer Science in Jesus College.

    Her interests are in the study of mobile systems, the learning from their data offline and on-device and their applications, especially in terms of mobile health.

  • Dr Titouan Parcollet  has previously held the position of senior research associate at university of oxford.

    Dr Titouan Parcollet

    Titouan Parcollet is an Associate Professor at the University of Avignon and Visiting Researcher at the University of Cambridge. He has previously held the position of Senior Research Associate at the University of Oxford.

    He was also Visiting Researcher at the Montréal Institute for Learning Algorithms (MILA). Titouan is the co-founder of SpeechBrain, a pytorch-powered speech toolkit.

    Dr Chris Lu

    Chris is an Assistant Professor in the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh. Before that he did both his PhD studies and post-doctoral research in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Oxford, advised by Professor Niki Trigoni and Professor Andrew Markham.

    Chris also works closely with Professor John A. Stankovic. His PhD was generously funded by Google DeepMind. Prior to Oxford, he received his MEng degree in 2015 from Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
